In this one-day retreat, you will learn about how we are colonized—and colonizing—and how we can actively decolonize our bodies, minds, and spirits. You’ll learn about how our language and culture keep us in prescribed roles based on gender, race, age, ability, and other ways to categorize us. You’ll learn about our body parts that are named after the white men who “discovered” them—and alternative names that empower us. You’ll come home to your body through movement and reimagine yourself through art. This will be a rich day of unlearning, relearning, and embodying.
