KELLY WAGNER, ND

NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE

Kelly Wagner, ND offers a comprehensive, root cause approach to revolutionizing your mental health and overall well being. This means looking at all the possible pieces that may be contributing to you not feeling your best. Kelly offers naturopathic specialty care with a focus on mental health, GI issues, and other chronic health conditions. Kelly is a good “outside of the box” thinker. She likes to get creative and loves working with people who feel ready to “put in the work” and those willing to take ownership over their health.

Change can be hard, no doubt, but also very beautiful. Empowering patients to change, to understand their bodies, and discover the gentle power of the healing arts is a fantastic honor for Kelly. As a Naturopathic practitioner, she has the privilege of hearing people’s stories, each one unique with its own joys and struggles. Kelly enjoys being able to bridge the gap between western medicine and the “alternatives,” while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal.  One of Kelly’s favorite parts of her work is having so many tools to use and avenues to explore—and she loves when people start to feel better as a result!

Kelly maintains an open and approachable relationship with patients, and is often described as a good listener. She always wants her patients to feel like she is on their team, and strives to make her work with a patient to feel manageable for them, fostering positive change one bit at a time. Work with Kelly will be as comprehensive as it can be in order to figure out the root cause(s) of what is going on for you. Just because something might not work, doesn't mean there are not other options to explore; all bodies are different and what works for one person might not work for the next. Patience and determination is key, especially when dealing with complex and/or chronic conditions.

While many patients who gravitate towards working with Kelly tend to be adult cis-women, she is open to seeing any patient who is inspired to work with her – cis-men, transgender or non-binary people, and children, all included! Kelly most especially enjoys working with patients who are motivated to do the work to improve their health. She makes the suggestions, but you are the one who has to execute them!

Kelly may just put the “fun” in fun facts, so here are a few about her!

  • Quaking Aspen trees are Kelly’s biggest plant spirit ally at the moment, hence the name of her practice!

  • Kelly is queer-identified and queer/transgender friendly practitioner.

  • She is passionate about listening to her patients and helping them achieve optimal health.

  • She LOVES to cook.

  • Home herbal medicine making is one of Kelly’s favorite things to do!

  • She thinks sheep are adorable and for some reason, they make her laugh!

  • Kelly loves to play outside - biking, hiking, sports of almost any kind (but especially field hockey, basketball and softball).

  • She loves hot yoga!! (Mmmm...feels so good just thinking about it.)

Kelly is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a B.S. in nutrition and dietetics. She then went on to study at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon, graduating with a doctorate in naturopathic medicine. She earned her Certificate in Homeopathy through the New England School of Homeopathy (NESH), and completed a 1-year residency program in primary care in South Burlington, Vermont. Kelly then began treating patients in a primary care setting for eight years before transitioning to a more specialized style of practice.
