Sex Ed Book Club: Come As You Are (Chapters 7-9)

Sex Ed Book Club meets monthly on a Wednesday evening 7:30-9:00pm on Zoom. Sarah will choose books with truly helpful sex ed content, and you’ll discuss a manageable chunk so that it’s easy to keep up. The facilitated conversation will include what’s in the book as well as how it applies to our lives. Come nerd out with Sarah!

Come As You Are, by Emily Nagoski, is the most comprehensive book about sex that Sarah has found, particularly for people with vulvas (or people having sex with people with vulvas).

For March 19, you’ll discuss chapters 7-9 and appendices. Themes include:

  • desire

  • orgasm

  • creating a sex-positive context

  • masturbation & expanding/extending orgasm
